Jessica's Law Faces Questions about Constitutionality

It looks like Proposition 8 is not the only measure that is facing examination by the
Courts. The Daily Breeze reports that the California Supreme Court is questioning
the constitutionality of Proposition 82 that voters passed in 2006, commonly known as
"Jessica's Law." The indefinite confinement of sexually violent predators is allowed in a
provision of this measure, but the court will now decide whether or not this confinement
provision violates a citizen's guarantees of due process and equal protection.
